Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25 is a movie with a very different concept of a robot coming to a family in a rural village in kerala. With a concept like this the movie might seem like a comedy entertainment but it is an in-depth movie that deals with topics like over dependency of technology in life and old age and importance of being together especially during old age, the overall family dynamics etc. Suraj Venjaranmoodu plays the father character to Soubin who works in Russia and brings the robot to Bhaskaran's (character played by Suraj Venjaranmoodu) life to take care of him. The small budget movie that was released during Covid-19 in OTT platform deals with the patriarchal household and the plight of the newly wed woman doing everyday chores with nothing but humiliation.
